Somehow I can’t believe that there are any heights that can’t be scaled by a man who knows the secrets of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C’s. They are curiosity, confidence, courage, and constancy, and the greatest of all is confidence. When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.
Walt Disney had it right. If we believe in ourselves, have the motivation and the courage, there is nothing that we can’t achieve in this life. We are the offspring of God – and we have that seed of divinity in us. I’m going to change what Mr. Disney said just a little bit. Believe in yourself all the way, implicitly and unquestionably. You can do things that you don’t believe yourself capable of.
Don’t lose the little kid in yourself. Each one of us has a little kid inside, and we think that since we’re all grown up there is a need to smother the little people inside of us. Sure, life can be serious, but it needs to be enjoyed, too. Have fun, let your curiosity and wonder run wild. Enjoy the little things in life. Do you remember when you were little and you would find the smallest things absolutely fascinating, such as a leaf or an ant running across the yard? We should dig deep and find those moments every once in a while. Lose yourself in the stars above you on a clear cloudless sky.
Let yourself be a kid sometimes. You can accomplish limitless things, so why not let go every once in a while?
