I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.
Some come from ahead and some come from behind.
But I’ve bought a big bat. I’m all ready you see.
Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

Dr. Seuss

I like this one. Face the trials in your life and arm yourself with the tools that have been provided for you to defeat them. The Lord has given us many “big bats” in this life: prayer, friends, family, scriptures, the Holy Ghost, etc. Use them! You’ll be surprised how easily some of those troubles are shattered by turning the problem over to the Lord. He knows the troubles that are coming and will guide you to the places you need to be in order to find the bat designed to defeat that specific trouble. Now sometimes it takes a few good whacks from that bat to beat the trouble back, but it is always possible.

Face each trial in this life as a challenge, for that is what it is. They are challenges issued to us by Heavenly Father when He knows we are ready, even if we don’t think that we are. They are challenges to become more like Him. Look at them as opportunities to hit a home run. If you do occasionally strike out, remember that it happens to the best of us. Step up to the plate again, and swing hard at the next pitch.
